Team Exergy Goes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at Lyle Pearson Spring Series Slammer Road Race

 
Set up by two crafty moves from teammate Brandon Lynch in the last 15 kilometers, Team Exergy riders Kai Applequist, Austin Arguello, and Chris Stuart launch into a 3 man breakaway and team time trialed to a 1,2,3 victory. Winner Kai Applequist stated “This Treasure Valley field is one of the strongest local races we face all year. When I found myself in a 3 man break with two teammates I told them if we get caught Tad (Team Exergy Sporting Director) will kill us. That last 10 k was the hardest I’ve ridden all year”.
